But it's a genuinely packed season across every platform — new mysteries, returning favorites, and a few finales along the way.

Tommy & Tuppence is the first time any Agatha Christie property has been reimagined as a contemporary, English-language series. Previous adaptations — including the 1983 Partners in Crime and a 2015 update — kept the story in its original period setting. This version moves Tommy Beresford and Tuppence into present-day London, keeping the playful chemistry and amateur-detective spirit that made the pair so different from Christie's other creations.
It's a six-episode season, with two episodes airing on premiere day and one new episode arriving weekly after that.

Imelda Staunton as Aunt Ada, with Tommy and Tuppence.
Tommy and Tuppence first appeared in Christie's 1922 novel The Secret Adversary — her second published book, and the one that introduced two amateur detectives-for-hire with more nerve than experience. Unlike Poirot or Marple, the Beresfords aged in real time across Christie's novels: they're unmarried and just starting out here, newlyweds by the following book, and grandparents by the time of her final Tommy & Tuppence novel. This new series draws its central relationship from that same source, even as it updates the setting entirely.
