About the show
Tommy and Tuppence Beresford first appeared in Agatha Christie's 1922 novel The Secret Adversary, her second published detective novel, and this version is the first time any Christie property has been reimagined as a contemporary, English-language series — earlier adaptations, including a 1983 series and a 2015 update, kept the story in its original period setting. Antonia Thomas and Josh Dylan star as the will-they-won't-they crime-solving duo, with Imelda Staunton among the supporting cast. BritBox scheduled the premiere for September 15 specifically to land on Christie's own birthday.
