Kris Marshall's Humphrey Goodman led the island's police from 2014 to 2017, so Beyond Paradise fans can see where his story began.
Anna Samson plays DI Mackenzie Clarke, who leaves the Metropolitan Police under a cloud and returns to her small hometown on the New South Wales coast. The second Death in Paradise spin-off shares Beyond Paradise's mix of homecoming, old relationships and seaside murders.

Mark Williams plays a mild-mannered Catholic priest in the 1950s Cotswold village of Kembleford, whose understanding of human nature helps him solve local murders. It offers the same gentle, low-stakes comfort as Beyond Paradise, with a village full of familiar faces.
Kerry Godliman plays Pearl Nolan, who runs a seafood restaurant in the Kent seaside town of Whitstable and sets up as a private detective. The coastal setting, family ties and a detective balancing work with romance will feel familiar to Beyond Paradise fans.
Sally Lindsay plays an antiques dealer who moves to a village in the south of France after her husband's mysterious death and ends up solving local crimes. Like Humphrey, Jean is starting a new life somewhere small and finding that murder follows her there.
