About the show
Daniel Brierley created and writes Trigger Point, which is produced by Jed Mercurio's production company, HTM Television — reuniting Mercurio with his Line of Duty leading lady, Vicky McClure, who stars as bomb disposal officer Lana Washington. McClure was awarded an MBE in 2023 for services to drama and charity. The show follows the Metropolitan Police's EXPO bomb disposal unit, with each series built around a fresh explosives threat across London.
