Line of Duty
AC-12, an anti-corruption unit, hunts bent coppers inside the force — and the result is some of the most nerve-shredding television British TV Hub has come across. Famous for its feature-length interrogation scenes, its acronyms (OCG, anyone?), and cliffhangers that had the whole country theorising about 'H', this is appointment viewing at its most addictive. Jed Mercurio's series rewards bingeing. A seventh series has wrapped filming and is expected in 2027, with Robert Carlyle joining as the new guest lead. About the show
Jed Mercurio — a former hospital doctor who also created Bodyguard — wrote every one of Line of Duty's 36 episodes himself across its six-series run. Martin Compston, Vicky McClure, and Adrian Dunbar anchor AC-12 throughout, while each series brings in a different guest lead under investigation, with past standouts including Keeley Hawes, Stephen Graham, and Kelly Macdonald. The show has picked up a Royal Television Society Award for Best Drama Series and more than a dozen BAFTA nominations.
